Wudangshan Railway Station (18 km from the scenic area)

Self-driving Tour
Navigation destination: Wudang Mountain Tourist Center. Direct access via Fuyin Expressway, 2.1 km after exiting the expressway.
Parking fee: ¥20 per day; free for new energy vehicles. Private cars are not allowed inside the scenic area.
Advice: Arrive before 7:00 a.m. during peak seasons to avoid long queues.

Long-distance Bus
Wuhan: Depart from Hankou Jinjiadun Bus Station, ¥150 per ticket, 6 hours’ journey
Shiyan: Buses depart every 10 minutes, ¥8–10 per ticket, 1 hour’s journey
Xiangyang: Direct buses available, ¥50 per ticket, 2 hours’ journey

2. In-scenic Area Transportation
Scenic Shuttle Bus (Mandatory)
Fare: Included in the combined ticket (Ticket: ¥164 + Shuttle Bus: ¥90 + Insurance: ¥10 = Total ¥264). Valid for 3 days with unlimited rides.
Routes: Tourist Center ↔ Prince Slope ↔ Purple Cloud Palace ↔ Southern Rock Palace ↔ Qiongtai (lower cableway station)
Operating hours: Peak season 7:30 – 17:30; Off-season 7:30 – 17:00
Golden Summit Cableway
Route: Qiongtai (lower station) ↔ Golden Summit (upper station)
Fare: One-way ¥80, Round trip ¥150
Operating hours: Peak season 6:00 – 17:30; Off-season 7:30 – 17:00

Useful Tips
Reservation: Complete real-name reservation 1 day in advance via the mini-program Wudang Mountain Smart Tourism. Time-slot reservation is required for visiting the Golden Summit.

Reminders: Prioritize Wudangshan West Railway Station over Shiyan East Railway Station. Do not take unlicensed vehicles inside the scenic area.
Temperature difference: The mountain top is 5–10°C cooler than the foot of the mountain. Prepare windproof outerwear and non-slip shoes.
